Travel with us in the Footsteps of Paul and the Early Church (including all 7 churches of Revelation)
Why travel to Turkey? Geoff and Jamie Carroll discuss what makes this Travel the Text trip so unique.
Travel into the world of the New Testament with us as we walk in the footsteps of Paul and the early disciples where they took the Good News to the Nations. Paul was born in Asia minor (modern day Turkey) and approximately 50% of the New Testament was written either to or from here.
In Turkey, we will study how the first generations of Jewish Christians shared the Good News of Jesus to a foreign, Greco-Roman audience. Filled with beautiful landscapes, rich history, and an abundance of awe-inspiring archaeological sites, traveling in Turkey will open your eyes to not only what God was doing in the first century, but also to what God is doing now. A theme woven at the beginning and end of Revelation is that of preparation. In essence, Jesus says, “I am coming soon! Get ready and live in the way I have taught and shown you.”

Your teacher for this Biblical study program is Geoff Carroll of Travel the Text. Since 2005, when he first lived in Israel studying at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Geoff has been passionate about bringing people to the lands of the Bible to engage the history, culture, and ancient perspectives of the Bible.
