We are excited to announce this upcoming Israel program and to invite you to join us! This program offers our signature Israel experiences, traveling the “length and breadth” of the land for one of the fullest experiences available for on-site Biblical study and engaging cultural experiences in the land of the Bible.
Biblical Study Trips are distinctly different from tours, offering in-depth cultural teaching and Biblical study in small group settings at carefully selected sites throughout the lands of the Bible.
Travel the Text does not provide standard tours, but rather Biblical Study Programs that emphasize engaging the Biblical Text in its original context. Our pre-trip and on-site study will invite you into the time periods and world of the Bible as we examine how the original audiences may have understood and interacted with these texts. This program includes access to our pre-trip online “Biblical Foundations Course” that will be available to you about 2 months prior to your trip. This is an online Biblical study course designed to help you prepare for this trip with weekly recommended readings, introductory video teaching lessons by Geoff Carroll, and photos and visual illustrations for Biblical sites, maps, and time periods for our journey.
